Dentists Give Go-Ahead for HiPP Baby TeasThe first baby teas have been approved as "safe for teeth" by Toothfriendly International.
For the first time in its history, the association has allowed its recognized "Toothfriendly" quality seal to appear on a range of infant teas. The endorsement is based on scientific pH-tests demonstrating that HiPP's baby tea is both non-cariogenic and non-erosive, thus fulfilling the toothfriendly criteria. The accredited tea range comes in three herbal flavours and is available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
"Dentists welcome HiPP's initiative to draw mothers attention to dental health", confims Dr. Albert Bär of Toothfriendly International. "Besides embossing its product labels with the Toothfriendly endorsement, HiPP informs parents about various risks related to baby bottle caries. The company truly lives up to its reputation as a responsable marketer", says Dr. Bär.
